Okay so I got a positive hpt result, I went to BabyCenter.com and put in the first day of my last period June 20th. And it said that I am 3 weeks and 4 days pregnant??? I ovulated only 13 days ago??? Why is it saying I'm almost a month pregnant when I KNOW I ovulated July 2nd or 3rd???

Pregnancy is Skways calculated off the first day of your last period. This date will renain that way likely until your first ultrasound. It is why pregnancy is actually ten months not nine months. You can read about this on baby center as well. Perhaps look up when pregnancy starts or something along those lines. It is a peculiar idea but it's how it works.

I don't know why they do that. I think if a woman knows when she ovulated they should go off of that. When you see your dr make sure to tell them when you ovulated as well. I had a nasty experience where they told me I'm measuring 7 weeks and my dr went off my LMP which says I'm 10 weeks and simply by the dating their saying there's no heartbeat. They were wrong for my son too, he was born 3 weeks early by induction, so in having my dr wait and do more tests cuz I only ovulated may 23rd so the math is right by that date but my period was April 29th.
​Make sure your dr knows your dates and never let them pressure you into something without added evidence.

Doctors and websites calculate due dates based on last period because usually people don't know their ovulation date. In this case, you do. When you make your appointment with the doctor just let them know you know exactly when you conceived. A few websites that calculate due dates will have you either enter you last period date or day you conceived. Shop around! Congrats!
