Shoulder Dystocia?

How many mommas have had a SD baby and their arm came back and they were able to fully move it? My little girl is 2 months old and still no progress.

Hello I’m aware this is an old post but I thought I’d comment. Hopefully by now your little one should have some movement? 
My son was born in 2013 with SD, he’s arm is not 100% he’s still under consultants in a different town and physiotherapists. He’s having to have two major operations next year to try and save some of his arm. We’ve been told that if the operation fails he’ll love movement in his arm completely. 
I really hope this isn’t the case! And isn’t for you! :(.

My daughter (7weeks) had SD and hasn’t had any mobility issues, thank goodness. 
When I was born I had SD and never recovered from a brachial plexus injury and had surgery at 9 months old and 6 years old, I still have limited range of motion and movement at 24 years old. So having my daughter get SD was very traumatizing. I’d recommend physical therapy asap. but know that it’s not the end of the world to have an arm that works less, although it does suck and I get super emotional about it sometimes. most people don’t notice when they see me cuz I do use both arms daily. Oh, also that with an injury with SD it can still potentially recover after 6-9 months. Goodluck!
