So far I’m on baby girl number 2 and the pregnancies have been completely opposite . With my first (19 months old now) I was sick and in and out of the ER due to dehydration for the first 6 months . With this little lady I’ve had absolutely no sickness and it’s basically been a breeze from day one . Only symptom I have is exhaustion but I don’t know if it’s just from the pregnancy or the fact that I’m pregnant and caring for a 19 month old wild child 😂 . I don’t have any boys to compare them to but that’s just my experience thus far .

My mom amd sister have both said that girls are *generally* harder. I say generally because my mom thought I was a boy just because of how easy I was. But other than me, she could tell by the difficulty with the other 5 children she had.

girls hands down. both my sons i had tons of morning sickness and i carried so low my hips hurt so bad. my second son i was hospitalized multiple times for morning sickness as well as horrible pains thanks to being so dehydrated. i had to have medication just to keep anything down the whole pregnancy. my girls have been angels didn't even know i was pregnant till i was over 9 weeks along both times. they are up higher so carrying doesn't hurt so bad. i also have an easier time with staying in target weight gain. i eat about the same all my pregnancies and i gained large amounts with both boys(over 60lbs each) both girls(20lbs with the 1st and im due with the second and have only gained 12lbs in 29weeks) both boys were also big babies so maybe that is why. while my 1st daughter was average size.

With my daughter I was super sick my hemoglobin was down to a 3 I was so anemic and in and out of the hospital I am 32 weeks with my first boy and I have only been nauseated once and my hemoglobin is like a 10 so I’m not on any iron medication and soon he will be here yay 😊💙
