Facebook announcement?

When did you ladies post on Facebook that you were expecting? I'm not very far along so We have only told our family and close friends but I was thinking about posting it on Facebook when I got my ultrasound on the 31st I will be a little over 10 weeks...will that be too early?

I announced at 6 weeks 6 days after my first ultrasound. I was going to wait until after 12 weeks but realized that if anything went wrong I would want the support. Do not regret announcing early at all. I was able to ask so many questions and get advice! So worth it!

Didnt announce it yet... Im 16w.... Not planning to.... The few important people will know via skype... And all the others dont need to know really..... Hahaaa thats just me I know most people want to tell the world though

I posted at 12 weeks! I wanted to announce it early but since this is my first pregnancy I was hesitant to say anything until after the first trimester.

We waited til  14 weeks with my last one and knew then gender and we will wait until we know the gender of our twins at 14 weeks.
