I'm not a real women

I would like another perspective, maybe if anyone else has heard of something like this or similar. As a child I've always had a fast metabolism, was very active and still am. I've been told by a decent amount of people that I'm not a real women because I've never had a stretch mark. I'm a little offended because there is nothing wrong with stretch marks, its natural but I can't control how my body grows. Obviously I am a women and deserve to be treated with respect just like a women who does have stretch marks. How do I approach this or should I just ignore them
