Am I asking for too much?

I have a 6 week old and ever since she's been born I have taken care of her through the night whenever she wakes up. Not a problem to me because hubby works and he needs his sleep and I can always take a nap the next day but tonight I asked him if he could start taking care of her on Saturday nights so i can get a full night's sleep. He doesnt work on Sundays. He tells me no and that if he did do that he would have to go to bed early at like 9pm.(We never go to bed that early) I said seriously and got pissed off and just let it go. Am I overreacting? I would really like to start getting at least 1 night a week of peaceful sleep.
