Best time to take a pregnancy test for accurate results?

My period is over a week late. I'm on a 28day pill, this month I was very bad at remembering to take it on time, I double dosed twice in two weeks. I began my placebo pills Thurs May 31. My period should've come by June 2-3. It's June 10 and I still haven't gotten my period.

Google tells me to wait one week after my missed period. Does that mean one week after your missed period should have ended? Or on the same day as your missed period ends?

I took a test on June 5, it was negative. When is the best time to take another test?
