Pineapple core?!

Has anyone heard of eating the pineapple core to help induce labor ?!

I haven’t tried it but I did see a “labor inducing” smoothie recipe and it said to use the pineapple core.

from my understanding you have to eat a ton for it to be effective and it has to be with the core 🤷🏼‍♀️ but I've been eating 2 pineapples with their cores per week since 30 weeks. if it's helping anything, cool. if not, it's my favorite fruit anyways and I'm enjoying it (I love dipping it in chocolate)!! lol (38 weeks now)

Was told that too! Just don’t cut the core out when you chop up a fresh pineapple and the core isn’t really bad tasting or bad texture, just a little crunchy and a little less flavorful

My midwives told me you need to eat like 24 pineapples to get enough of the enzyme for it to be effective. 😬 Sorry to burst anyone’s bubble, I definitely think it’s an old wives tale 🙈

I'm 38 weeks pregnant and my midwife told me to eat pineapple. I have eaten 2 whole ones over the last two days and nothing. :(
