I really fucked up and i need to fox it i just dont know how
I should start off saying this is long but im desperate for help.. and also that my parents are pretty chill understanding people but they hold grudges and are stict about me dating. I am 17 and a senior living in a hispanic household. I am not allowed 1 on 1 dates.. like i can have double dates or dates and bring a sibling or have the boy come over.
Last year i went kind of crazy and started sneaking out of my house to see this boy ( we didnt just sneak out we hung out during the day and he asked me to go to prom with him and stuff) *also we did not have sex when i snuck out and stuff we really only kissed ever.. about 4 months in to our relationship last may i got caught sneaking out and my parents caught him taking me home and it was a disaster. My parents were absolutely furious and basically told me i cant ever talk to him. I was grounded for a month and my dad didn’t talk to me for WEEKS They drug tested me and dna tested me andsti tested me (i passed everything since i was a virgin and dont do drugs)..
Anyways a few months later in decemer i saw him at a party and we started talking again.. i could tell he genuinely had feelings for me and this boy RESPECTS ME SO MUCH!!! He went off back to college and we gradually got back together— and i can tell he was faithful because he snapchatted me every 10 min basically and alway called me and im just sure
We’ve been together for 6 months now and i have been hanging out with him a lot ( i have to lie to my parents and say im with my friends usually to see him). I dont want to keep lying to them because i love this boy and i can tell that he genuinely loves me too ( he just treats me so well and idk how to explain it i just know). He is almost 3 years older than i am (17) and i just dont know how to tell my parents.. we both feel like its time but we are both too scared of them..
Moms and anyone with advice, how do you think i should tell my parents that despite our questionable actions that he is a good guy?
