Doctors are baffled and I feel like crying 😭

Chloe

I have always struggled with UTIs, especially after sex 😣 If literally anything goes down there I get a UTI. I take all the precautions. I pee. I drink over 2l a day. I still get them, and normally I take D mannose and cranberry supplements and hope they go away, which they normally do. In February, I woke up in the middle of the night with really bad UTI symptoms, so bad that I didn't sleep and my fiance had to take me to get antibiotics as soon as the surgery opened. The antibiotics seemed to work, but immediately after I stopped the course, within a couple of days this son of a bitch came back 😑😑. This was the case for 5 subsequent courses of different types of antibiotics, they would work until I stopped taking them. The Dr would do a urine dipstick test every time I came in, sometimes they would show blood and white cells, sometimes not. But the symptoms would be the same. The cultures kept coming back normal. I was then tested for STIs and I'm clean. I haven't had sex since March as my fiance is deployed and I am still getting symptoms. I saw a specialist, who said my anatomy is all fine and normal, and thinks I may have Overactive bladder syndrome. I looked it up and the symptoms are similar, but not that similar. I'm due for more tests but I've been suffering since February and I'm losing faith that I'll get an answer. Does anyone have any advice on anything? 😭
