How to do STD/STI testing while being a dependent on my mom's insurance? I don't want my mom to find out through her insurance😫

Hey all! So I have a question! I would like to get STD/STI testing done, but since I am a dependent on my mom's insurance I don't want my mom to find out through her insurance that I got this testing done. I know doctors aren't allowed to share any information, because that would be a violation and I'm over 18. But I just don't want my mom's insurance notifying her through a bill or in some other way. I did hear about how a dependent can request for EOB or Explanation of Benefits, but I'm not exactly sure how that works so I've tried calling my insurance but they're not picking up the phone since it's Sunday. So I'll try calling them again tomorrow.

But I'm just wondering...How would I be able to get the STD/STI testing done without my mom's insurance letting her know? No hateful or rude comments please. Thanks for all the help in advance! 😊
