Should I go for it???

There’s this guy who’s in a grade above me and I really want to get to know him. We have no mutual friends but I think we have some things in common. I want to get to know him-even if not romantically, I wanna be friends. Idk how to approach him. I know it’s like “just say hi!” But idk him at all and idk if he’ll ignore me or be like “why is she texting me.....” i just don’t know him at all or how he’ll react . I don’t wanna be humiliated .. help?

If you have him on snap, maybe start a streak with him. Or maybe plan a bonfire with your friends during the summer, or a small nighttime party.
I wouldn’t mind if someone said
“Hey, I know we don’t talk a lot but I was wondering if you wanted to come to my party/bonfire sometime.”
Or in some way like that. Try to hang out not alone, but with others at first so you know each other in a social setting level.

I know this may sound very cheesy and straight out of a movie but try bumping with him and then just start a random convo lmao. This is actually really tough given that u guys have no mutual friend to help connect you to them. But if you really want to get to know him I suggest you just go up to him and talk to him even if it’s hard. If he ignores you well then there you go, he’s an asshole and you wouldn’t want that type of guy in your life anyways. Try grabbing a pencil and tapping him on the should and tell him “hey is this yours” and then BOOM A CONVERSATION. Hell say no and then you’ll say oh i saw it behind you. Then tell him he looks familiar and ask him what his name is and so on just make shit up lmao
