Our last baby
My little man is 2 weeks and 2 days old now. Back on May 24th ( Thurday) I had my 39 week 3 day appointment where my dr stripped my membranes. At my appt, I was 4cm and 60 % effaced. I felt fine after and went home relaxed for a little, then got ready and went to work. Contraction were no worse then they had been the past few weeks. 5pm came and left work and went home to get dinner made for our other kids. Around 7 PM kids sat down to eat and hubby and I were sitting down on our couch talking when I had a pretty intense contraction and then I felt a large gush. I told my husband I thought my water broke. I got up to go to the bathroom to find blood everywhere... Heavier then a period. I called my mom who lives right down the road to come be with our kids and we rushed to the hospital. Got to the hospital and got checked still 4cm and 60 % but contractions were about every 3 minutes. They told me the bleeding was my bloody show, which I was shocked with the amount. They told me I was in active labor and they were admitting me. Around 930pm they moved us to a room and I had to pee. I walked into the bathroom and felt a pop and water everywhere. Nurse checked me and sure enough it was my water. I was 6cm at this point and having the worst back labor. Got the epidural and my blood pressure quickly dropped. They injected me with meds to bring it back up. was able to relax a bit more after that, but could not sleep. nurse was in and out though out the night checking me. around 540am checked me again and I was 9 1/2 called the dr in
and she had me do a practice push around 550am his head was right there so they set up for delivery. one contraction and 2 pushes our little man and last baby was born at 559am on 5/25 7lbs 15oz 20 1/2 inches. Beyond in love with him.
