Ok, so this may be a little TMI but whatever. So I used to be on paragard but my periods would literally last for like 10+ days and I would be going through 5 or 6 tampons a day for at least 2 days, plus pretty much going completely insane emotionally and cramps so bad that I felt like someone was gutting me with a rusty spoon. So I switched to the mirena. I barely cramp at all now and I am much more stable, but my periods still last a long time. They're not nearly as heavy as they were before, (light to regular instead of Niagara Falls) but I'll have light flow and spotting for like, 11 days. Should I just give it more time? Anybody else experience this? I got the mirena in I want to say October?
