How do you make the spark stay alive while being pregnant????

so I will be 10 weeks in a couple of days and since then I haven't really been in the mood to have sex with my husband.  has nothing to do with him but all I wanna do is sleep due to this bad fatigue. It has caused some tension and distant between us. anyone have this while pregnant?.

I hear you on the fatigue. But I’m a firm believer that you need to stay connected to your husband/partner. He needs you too. You may not be in the mood but if you do decide to reconnect with him, the orgasms are amazing when your pregnant!!! It’s awesome!

Very common. Hormones make many women lose their drive. He should be more understanding in my view. Making a human life is really freaking hard!

Ive only had sex with my husband 3 times since finding out I was pregnant. Currently 8w6d. It’s totally normal with the hormone increase, the nausea and fatigue. A lot of people say it gets better end of first trimester and throughout the second before they spike again in the 3rd. Hang in there!

We had sex a few times but this last time I was cramping really badly for several hours after, a common side effect as everything’s very sensitive down there. So since then we’re playing it a bit safer till end of first trimester. Just find ways to keep spark that maybe don’t necessarily mean vaginal sex. He might be happy with an  oral compromise 😏

Ugh I hear ya. We had sex two weeks ago and I spotted pink right after so I’m terrified to do it again (even though baby is fine with a strong heartbeat as of this morning). I feel so bad for hubby because I want to do it but so scared 😭🙈

We've been having a lot of sex because that's the only physical activity I want to do. It was the opposite with my first pregnancy. At that time, he just dealt with it and didn't push me.

No sex for me during the first trimesters of both my pregnancies, but we still try to keep the intimacy there. I cuddle with him on the couch while we watch movies, or we give each other back massages, we still hold hands when we go out places, etc. Just keep doing the little things - it might be that your husbands love language is physical touch, and he needs that reminder to know you love him. It doesn’t have to be sex! And if your lucky your drive will come back 10x stronger than it was before once you hit your second trimester (at least, that was my experience with my last one 😜)

We haven’t dtd since finding out, partly I want t get my first scan and mostly in sick exhausted and it’s the last thing in my mind. This is our 3rd so he completely understands, but I do make sure we hold hands and cuddle etc just to keep up that I still need physical contact just not sex atm. Talk to him and fully explain how you feel! You need to completely open with each other. Xxxx
