How do we get an earlier bedtime?
Our son used to eat at 9pm and then go to sleep until about 12:30am so I’d get a couple hours of sleep before the first night feeding. (We EBF.) Now (at 11 weeks) he still wants to eat around 9pm, but he won’t go back to sleep. So he’s wide awake until we start the next feeding. He’ll usually eat again around 10:30 but takes until 11:30 or midnight to finally fall asleep for actual bedtime. That’s miserable for me to not get to bed until after midnight!!! Thankfully he’s sleeping for about 4 hours now instead of 2 1/2-3, but how do we get him to sleep earlier?? I read about people with bedtime at 7 or 8... that’s when our LO is the most alert!!! Any tips? Thanks!!!
