Is this a silly question?

So me and my husband have decided to start trying for a baby, when we have sex I normally shower straight away because it just feels all uncomfortable down there. Should I be waiting, is there less chance if I’m washing away sperm?

I would clean up right away after sex. I hate feeling like I'm leaking his stuff. It took us 3 months. If you wanna clean up, clean up! A few tips. 1). Dont have sex every day during your fertile week. Sperm needs time to recover. Do it every other day. 2). Dont symptom spot. I always thought I had the symptoms, but the moth I was pregnant, I didn't have a single one. 3). It's hard, but wait to test until a day before your period is due, or better yet, after your period is late. 4). Pink dye tests are more accurate than blue dye, and digital need more HCG to register as positive. Good luck!

Sperm gets where it’s going in seconds. It’s fine to get up and shower.

any sperm that goes in will get to where it needs to be within seconds. everything else is extra and isn't going to get you pregnant. or that's what I've read at least lol. I like to shower or clean up after because I'm prone to UTIs
