Karli Sue was born Monday July 6th at 8:05 PM! I went in for a sweep at 39 weeks and my water broke right after! Contractions never started, I was started on PIT around 3:00 PM. Contractions were 2-3 minutes apart. I tried so hard to not get the epidural, but I gave in, it didn't work, and I told them it wasn't working, they checked me and I was 9 1/2 cm dilated (no wonder it didn't work) they turned the epidural off at 7:45 when I started pushing and she was out at 8:05 with only 20 minutes of pushing. No tears or anything! 45 minutes later I was up peeing and 3 hours later I was up walking around! She was 6 pounds 11 ounces! --- I also had GD. Don't let them think you will have a big baby just because you have GD because she was not big, she was smaller then my first - (8 lbs 6 ounces) at my 38 week growth ultrasound they told me she weighed 7 pounds 9 ounces, the ultrasounds are off too!
