Has anyone ever had a car seat that wasn’t an infant one and it work out? I found one that isn’t an infant one and you cannot take out of the car but if I get that one I’d have to take baby in and out of the seat and hold or carry the baby everywhere we go.. any advice or opinions?

EDIT: this car seat that would anchor in the car would be rear facing. It’s a convertible car seat so it would be rear facing until the baby is old enough and then would be turned front facing
