I don’t know if it’s just because my house is pretty warm but...

Since my predicted date of ovulation a week and a half ago (I also got the smiley ovulating face back then), my BBT has been going steadily up. I’m a lot hotter than I was around ovulation. I thought you stay fairly steady after ovulation and that ovulation time is usually your peak temp. Does anyone know why this is please? Thank you
