What could it be?!

My stomach has been very tender and sore from the upper abdomen (stomach area) all the way down to my pelvis. I have really bad pains that come and go but the sore to the touch will not go away no matter what I try. The pain is also radiated along my lower back. What could this be? Anyone had experience with this?

Answer

You might have bruised something or stretched muscle, or it could be a symptom of something worse. If I were you, I'd sit with a heating pad and Advil and see if it helps. If you aren't starting to feel better in a day or so, I'd go to the doctor. If you develop any signs of infection (fever, chills, nausea, etc) then get yourself to the ER or urgent care.

Sounds like gallstones or pancreatitis. I had pancreatitis and pains like this. Also vomited nearly everything I ate
