im irregular

We are looking to start trying soon. My ob wants to wait until I have actually had a difficult time until we start doing anything more. I am just concered about my period. I will go 2 or 3 months between my periods. Not all the time.. sometimes their early, on time or maybe a few weeks late. There has never been a consistant time.

So my question... is there anything I can do to induce my period? if i know im coming up to that 30 day mark is there anything that will help my period start?
