Tests Negative

Hi,

I am 6 days late for my period and never have been except when I was pregnant in Dec (miscarriage) and I have taken a cheap 88 cent walmart test and it was negative. I am worried I might be pregnant as my partner and I do not use condoms and only rely on the pull out method. Before anyone hates on us for not using birth control it is due to my medicine that I take that makes it ineffective and I hate condoms. Could I still be pregnant since it was a cheap test? Or should I wait and test again? And stop drinking alcohol in the meantime just in case?
