When to go to the ER

I’ve had severe nausea for the past 2 weeks (I’m 9 weeks) and I started actually vomiting last Friday and the past two days I haven’t been able to keep ANYTHING down, not even water. So my question is, when do you go to the ER for some IV fluids for dehydration?

If you can’t keep water down, just go in. They’ll possibly put you on an iv and get nausea meds in you, and possibly a prescription for nausea

A good point to go is always 3days but with pregnancy and so early you don’t want to risk it. If you’re having strong urine or decreased urination that’s a bad sign.

I would go in. You can become dehydrated much faster while pregnant and it’s better to be safe than sorry. Also, you will likely feel better once they hydrate you and give you some anti-nausea meds.

just go in I went in the morning after it happened to me so it was from 7pm-6am and the nurse was like why didn't you come in earlier and she put me on the iv right away

Try freezing ice cubes of Gatorade and sucking on those.  I would call your ob and see what they have to say!
