Breastfeeding success?

Question

So I have 3 kids...the first two I did not breastfeed and the last I tried but did not produce much...was it possibly because I did not with my first two? I am pregnant with my fourth and would like to be successful at breastfeeding...I probably could have tried harder last time...but has anyone else experienced this or not have any trouble at all? Thanks

You can have your prolactin levels checked. If they’re low you have a chance of being an under supplier.
My best advice would be tons of skin to skin at first, feed baby on demand, drink a TON of water at least half your body weight in ounces. (So if you’re 140 you’ll want to drink 70 ounces a day). Eat good. Lots of leafy greens, oatmeal, flaxseed. I personally love legendairy milk supplements but only after at least 6 weeks post partum. Pay more attention to babies diaper output and weight gain than to how often they are on the breast, the nurse for more than just hunger, and then moms think they’re not making enough and fall for the “top up trap” see picture below.
