I just need to rant. So today I went to my doctors to drop off my FMLA paper work to only get a call minutes after I left to be told that they won’t fill out my paper work because they only do it when you’re at least 28+ weeks. I need the paper work now so I am able to leave work for my appointments or to call in if I am sick and it be excused. After I proceeded to tell my doctors office that I needed it for such things, I was advised “oh well we can just write you a note, but that’s only if you come in to be seen for your morning sickness” I then told her that my work will not accept a note that I need my FMLA paper work signed & faxed in. Clearly she didn’t care much & ended with “well we can’t do it, so do you want to come pick up your papers?” I’ve been at my doctors office for 10 years & was seen by doctors there with both my kids & have never been so upset with them. I called & got in with a different doctor at a different clinic one that I know has no problem filling out my FMLA paper work. I’m now having to wait to have my first ultrasound at 11 weeks when I was suppose to have it at 8 smh
