Hi! I’m writing anonymously because it is such a naive question.

I’m on the birth control pill Desogestrel as it’s called in the UK. It used to cerazette.

I’m only asking because my partner and I want to start trying for a family early next year. Will it effect my fertility at all?

I asked my Dr and he just said “we will cross that bridge if we come to it”. Helpful.

I’m going to come off it new year and then wait for a natural period before trying.

I also had the IUD for 5 years prior to this. 🤷‍♀️ Help please.
