Dont torture yourself or him lol... I always wonder why parents dont give their kids medicine when they are sick... it makes everyone miserable... speedy teething!!

Our doctor said that Tylenol at the appropriate dosage is fine for as long as necessary.  We were told to not use Orajel under any circumstances because it can cause problems with latching, swallowing and breathing because it ends up numbing the throat as well.

Make sure you check the strength of the tylenol if you aren't using name brand.  Some of them are stronger than the tylenol brand!
