We live in an area where there is an overall shortage of doctors but especially OB doctors. It's largely a resort town and majority of residents are transient but there are still many people who live here year round. The closest doctors are almost an hour away as well as hospital where you can deliver but even there they only have a handful of doctors to juggle 3 counties worth of pregnant women. All 3 work for same practice and the practice has terrible reputation. I'm 17 was and have yet to see a doctor because they cancelled my 1st appt (16wks) 2 hours before then said they aren't accepting patients. Next closest doc is 2.5 hours away. Not sure what we will do.
