Hormonal/no hormonal iud?

Hey ladies so after I give birth roughly December January or so. I’m gonna get an iud since I don’t want another kid right now. I haven’t been on an iud before just the patch and pills. Which the pills didn’t work for me and I used two kinds. And the patch I ended up pregnant on. So I’m looking for something that’s more protective against pregnancy. So I was wondering how the experience was for those who have had a copper iud and the ones who have had a Mirena iud. I know every body is different but I just want to know other people’s opinions on them
