Has anyone had the terbutaline shot?

I went into early labor today @ 34 weeks and they gave me the terbutaline shot to stop it. Has anyone ever had this? I read that you can go into labor a few days after it  wears off it’s just given more so to allow steroid shots to be given.

I had the same shot given to me at 34 weeks. I am currently 36 weeks and 5 days and no baby yet but I have been h omg contractions

Yes! At 30 weeks I was contracting every 2-3 min so they get me a shot of terbutaline. It stopped the contractions for about 12 hours, and then I went back to my usual daily Braxton-Hicks. I’ll be 34 weeks tomorrow, still having lots of BH but nothing to make me dilate, which is great. I’m sure the terb works differently on every mama but it worked for me and helped slow things down for a little while. I hope it works for you too!

I was given like 3or 4 weeks ago it stopped the labor they never gave me any steroids after bit I haven't delivered my little guy yet either
