In need of positive words

Are there any moms out there that just really thought they wouldn't go into labor on their own & did at the end?? I'm 38+3 & I really have no signs of going into labor on my own.. I'm supposed to do vbac and I'm considering just switching to a c-section if I've made no progress by my next appt. I really want to experience giving  birth vaginally but I'm also suffering physically & emotionally.... Love to read up on some stories...
