You guys, help. My sister wants to name her daughter Market Rose or Cellar Sage. She keeps telling me everyone at work says they love the names, but I’m her sister and I’m going to be honest with her! She looked up a list of pretty words and that’s how she came up with these. I get they sound nice, but you’re really going to be running around the playground like, “Market? Cellar?” I think people who don’t know her well are just trying to be nice. I know it’s ultimately her decision, but I just don’t want my niece to be teased in school because my sister wanted something “different” 😑 What are your honest opinions on these names? Are they actually nice and I’m just thinking they’re weird? We live in a small town in the Midwest for reference.
