So I'm just wondering if there are any other ladies out there that have been pregnant while also having diagnosed bipolar disorder? I'm currently almost 9 weeks and I'm not medicated because the meds aren't "safe" for pregnancy so I actually came off of them prior to TTC. I've been off of them about 4 months now. I know it's normal to be on an emotional rollercoaster with pregnancy but how will I know what's normal and what is bipolar related emotion? Tonight for example, I'm very upset and crying because I'm overwhelmed with feeling so sick. I just don't want to fall into a bipolar depressive phase and not recognize it.
