Tietze's Syndrome???
I might have something in my left rib, directly under my breast called Tietze's Syndrome. I have done my research on it. I've gone to 3 doctors and none of them can properly diagnose what this painful lump is I've had on my rib for over 4 years. I'm forced to sleep on my back all night, every night! I yearn to sleep on my side so bad! I cannot exercise too much much or do certain things b/c it'll make my left rib more painful. It feels inflated, so that's why the last doctor I went to was a rheumatologist.
Getting to the point, my husband and I want to try getting pregnant this year or next year. But with my chronic rib pain and no end in site, I can't even fathom the idea of wanting to have a baby b/c I know being pregnant for me will be extremely painful (if even possible). I've had a CT scan and the lump on my rib shows there's nothing there. So, the doctors and myself are all confused! I feel hopeless. I have been in this pain for over 4 years and it's possible I could deal with for the rest of my life. I'm miserable. :( Has anyone heard of this or anything similar??
