Allow? A newborn can't roll over, so you would have to put them face down for them to get that way. You might as well be smothering them with a pillow if you're stupid enough to have them sleep on their belly.

It doesn’t matter! My mom has six kids and most of us, if not all, wanted to and did sleep on our stomach! Not one of us has suffered any repercussions from it!

I’ve let my 2 month old nephew sleep on his stomach for a nap but only if I was going to be right next to him to watch him if anything were to happen but  if i was putting him to bed or putting him down so I could pee or get me food/him a bottle then no I put him on his back

Mine started sleeping on her tummy right before she turned 4 months. I was so worried about it, but my doctor said that if she was strong enough to flip over, she would be fine and not to worry. 🤷🏼‍♀️ What can you do? Newborn, though, no. She slept in her rock and play.

I saw in a murder documentary (long story) that when physicians proposed to changing babies sleeping positions, the percentage of SIDS dropped. They say laying a baby to sleep on its stomach and side increases the risk of SIDS, and should not be done.
