I’ve never done this before but I’d like some insight from women who may have the same problem I’m having right now. A few months back I got what I thought may be a yeast infection. I did a round of Monistat 1 and it seemed better. Fast forward a few weeks, the same infection presented itself. Same yellow-green chunky discharge and itchiness ONLY after I irritate it, like after wiping in the restroom. I went ahead and did a round of Walgreens brand Miconazole 7. Everything was fine after that. My vagina went COMPLETELY back to normal. Then, after having sex, I developed an obvious urinary tract infection and also started having a tad more discharge than normal (normal discharge, not the chunky yellow-green kind). I went to the doctor because the pain was just unbearable this time to only be taking AZO pills. I wanted real antibiotics. I took a urine test and they told me my pee was definitely infected and gave me bladder spasm medicine and my antibiotics. NOW, a couple days after finishing my antibiotics, the chunky green-yellow discharge is back and I am itching like crazy after my vagina gets irritated from wiping. However, I do not have any pain while urinating. Below is not my picture but this is EXACTLY what it looks like and the first time I have been able to find a picture so accurate. What are yall’s opinions on this? Could it be recurring yeast infections or is this an STD/STI?! I’ve been wondering why it would go away and come back if it were an STD/STI. wouldn’t it just keep getting worse if it were an STD/STI?
