Ok who’s right?!

So tonight at 9:00 my husbands friend decided to knock on the door and bring another friend whom I have never seen before over , completely unannounced. My husband let them in and I fled to the bedroom because I’m without a bra just after a shower and getting our 2 year old down. I was furious they didn’t give a heads up but my husband is saying I’m overreacting and that that’s what friends do is swing by when they’re in the neighborhood . I said your friend is a grown man who knows we have a small child he needs to ask if it’s ok first but my husband is so mad that I’m not ok with this because I’m “uptight” and “mad about everything because I’m pregnant.” What would your reaction be? Am I being too dramatic?

You’re not being dramatic. It’s as much your house as it is his and if you can’t be comfortable in your own home then wth. Coming over unannounced is what single people do with their single friends. I find it rude.

my brother in law tried this and after I had a shit fit it will not happen again. I'm 23w and we had just went on a walk and I was hot as heck so I took off my clothes and sat on the couch and there his brother came knocking on the door.
People need to have respect especially for a married couple by asking if/when they can come over. We do have lives and want to see each other and are sometimes walking around inappropriate

I don’t think you’re overreacting. I HATE showing up to places unannounced, and I hate people showing up to my house unannounced. It’s just common courtesy. Almost everyone has a cellphone and it takes a few seconds to send a tex. Especially if it’s 9:00pm and you have a small child. You’re not overreacting.

My husband's friends used to do the same thing, I think it's a guy thing to be honest. I don't think you were wrong at all to expect a bit of a warning but I'd also pay attention to what he said when he said you're mad about everything. Some women do get aggro during pregnancy because of the hormones so maybe it's not so much what you said but how you said it.

My boyfriends friends do the same thing , i dislike it because they will come when we are in bed and then my boyfriend will hangout with them for a couple hours when its already late and should be helping putting our daughter to sleep
