How are Dec 17 babies sleeping?

Question

Just curious if there’s an average length of time in our babies for the first stretch of sleep. So how long does your baby sleep from the time you put him/her to bed until the time he/she wakes up for the first time?

I just completed a sleep training program, my sons pediatrician recommended sleep training because there is no need for night feedings (unless they need them for health reasons) but my son is in great health and doesn’t need the extra calories at night he just makes up for those feedings during the day. So I purchased a sleep training program and it seriously worked miracles! My son was sleeping all over the place 2 hrs 4 hrs 1 hr a half hr 3 hrs but never ever over 4 hrs once a night maybe was the longest he’d sleep now he sleeps 12 hrs every night!! I don’t have to feed him, rock him, he doesn’t use a binkie anymore or anything. Seriously that program was god sent.

Our baby sleeps 11-12 hours. Goes to bed at 8:45 like clock work after his 8:30 feeding. He even puts himself to sleep. We just put him in his crib after kisses and he is out in no more then 5 min of wiggling and rolling to find a comfy spot. It’s been a god sent. My LO feeds at 7:45 or 8pm and sleeps through the night anywhere from 11-12 hours. Routine is great for her. Take her to her room, change her diaper, put her in her sleeper, bottle, in her crib and is out within 5-10mins.

My LO goes down at 7pm and usually wakes at between 4-5am for a feed then asleep again till around 8am. Only just started doing this the last couple of weeks. He is 6mo. The 4 month sleep regression was the worst he was up ever 1.5hrs 😩

I started dreamfeeding and I think that messed up my daughters natural rhythm 🤦🏼‍♀️ so now she is down between 6-7pm and like clockwork is up between 9-10pm to eat. Then she won’t wake again until 3-4am.
At this point though, I’m okay with the 9-10pm feeding because she doesn’t eat super well before bed all the sudden. So that night feed helps her belly get full for the long stretch at night.

I love this post! I was starting to think it was just us, up every 2 hours! I chalked it up to the breastfeeding.
