how to induce labor naturally ?

I'm 36 weeks and doc said he is giving me one more week until we have lo in our arms I want to try to go into labor naturally instead of being induced, any ideas?advice?

What? Why would he only want you to go to 37 weeks? No one should induce before that, at the very least.

I wouldn't try to naturally induce at 36 weeks. Plus nothing will work unless baby is ready. I tried everything starting from 37 weeks and still went a week overdue. The doctor obviously had a reason for waiting one more week, so just embrace the time you have left and relish in every kick you feel because you won't feel that anymore in a weeks time!

Eat fresh pineapple and walk up stairs I walked 8 flights of stairs for two days and my little girl was born the next day.

There is no scientifically proven way. 
Don’t undermine your doctors advice. 
Equally don’t be pushed in to an unnecessary induction unless it is for the safety of you or your baby.
