Need help with clearblue fertility monitor

So I'm wondering do the indicators progress as empty circle, flashing smiley and solid smiley? Today is my third day of a smiley face... However I just realized that the second face is a flashing face not a face with radiating lines. (I'm more of an instruction browser vs reader!) I got the flashing smiley today but I'm unsure whether they were flashing the past two days or not. Any ideas??
