My doctor has called in an rx of Prevnar to jump start my period. I'm 31, TTC # 1. AF is 7 days late and BFN on all HPT. My cycles are long but regular. I would think they'd do a blood test to confirm before jumping right into hormonal therapy to start my cycle!? Of course I haven't been able to get ahold of a person at the the office and we've only been communicating through voicemails, I intend to talk to someone tomorrow.  But I'm not comfortable taking hormonal drug without knowing for sure first. I've read that many women just don't ever test positive for HPT and have to get a blood test. Isn't this strange??
