I’m my head....

Please no rude comments...so my bf and i started dating a few months ago we have been through a lot of the same things. He’s my best friend I love spending time with him. My family hasn’t met him yet. I am 27 and he is 47.. 20 year difference. He makes me laugh and he gets me. My fam asked how old he is and I didn’t tell them his real age or how many kids he really has. He has 4 and I told them he has 2. I have met his kids they like me which is a plus. I don’t know why this has been in my head a lot lately. Maybe cause I feel like when they know his real age they wont like it. But to me age is just a number. What would you all do in my situation???
