Ok tmi but for me it happened hours before pushing baby out. I kept telling the nurse I had to poop and she was like no it’s the baby and I’m like um no I need to poop. Needless to say she ignored me and at this time my epidural was still working (it later stopped) and so I ended up pooping and my bf has to help clean me up. And the nurse had to come back in and bring me a new pad for the bed. I was like yeah I told you I had to poop.

When pushing I didn’t poop at all but the baby did

I remember freaking out about this before while pregnant with my first. I felt it would be so embarrassing!
But you know what? When you are pushing life out of your body, you really, REALLY don’t care :)
I remember that I was surprised to feel no shame of showing my vagina and my feces to a room full of people, but I think you can feel that they see it 5 times a day and that for them it’s the daily routine. It’s how a delivery looks like for many women, it’s just us that are not used to it. But at this precise moment of your life, your brain will know what to focus on, and believe me, it will not be on if you pooped or not :)

I thought I was fine until a nurse was cleaning me up and she said “Whoop.. there’s a piece...”

I kept pooping just a teeny tiny bit. The nurse kept quietly wiping it away because she knew I was embarassrd about it. So sweet!

I did a tiny bit with my 1st...but not with #2, 3, or 4... I try to clear my system once I hit about 37-38 weeks and avoid certain foods...So no Taco Bell after 37 weeks lol...

I have. always find it embarrassing.  try so hard not to, but in order to push efficiently, it kind of happens.  hope I don't this time
