But what if..?

My husband and I are planning to start conceiving in September. I’m already having those what if moments.. what if I cant get pregnant? What if I have a miscarriage? What if something goes wrong? Anyone else having these thoughts?

🙋‍♀️ Me too!! I actually had a bit of a breakdown on Saturday because I was so worried about it (and I’m super hormonal at the moment). My partner and I won’t be trying to conceive until next year and I’m soooo worried it won’t happen for us. 
I think you and I both need to relax a little and not worry about something that hasn’t happened yet. It’s easier said than done though hey 😔

Yes! My husband and I both were so incredibly nervous that there may be something wrong with one of us when we decided to start trying. I hadn’t been on birth control for 3 years and my periods were funky sometimes so I thought for sure something wasn’t right. But we fell pregnant our very first month of trying and I’ll be 25 weeks along tomorrow! I was terrified of pregnancy and the “what if I do something wrong” but this has been a breeze and everyday I feel so incredible knowing what my body is doing. Try not to get into your head so much and good luck this September!!

Girl, it’s too early to be thinking that way... all that worry and stress will only make it more difficult for you to relax and conceive. Like my husband tells me (I’m a worrywart too), “don’t worry until there’s actually something to worry about”
