Help with mother in law

I am a first time mom to a one year old girl:) and my mother in law is very controlling and is, idk how else to say it, a bitch. She always tell me I'm a bad parent and says I'm doing everything wrong. Just recently my daughter started pulling her hair out and my m.i.l. Went off on me saying it was my fault and making me feel absolutely terrible. Today she wanted her to spend the night and when she picked her up I went to take my daughter to tell her goodbye and she started screaming and crying because she wanted her grandma. I feel like absolute shit. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'm not a bad parent. I'm not perfect. I am always there for my child I'm always home, I play with her all the time, hardly even can scold her if she is doing something wrong. What can I do to make my mil stop being such an ass and make myself feel better?? :(
