Driving 9 hours at 32 weeks

I am 14+5 and currently considered very low risk (I know this can change). I have a question for ladies who have experience or advice with travel at 32 weeks. I know this is something I will have to discuss with my midwife closer to the day, however, I live about 600 miles away from family and we are trying to get a date picked for a baby shower.  I guess my question is: is it doable? Did your Ob or midwife give you the green light to travel? The date of the shower would be November 7 and my due date is January 1. I know this is an open-ended question but any advice or kind opinions are appreciated 😊
