I had my last period start on the 10th of may. It was light but still there. On the 1st of June my OPK and Pregnancy tests arrived so I took one of each - early afternoon. I went and made a cuppa then came back (within window) and the OPK was positive (going by a 28 day cycle I should have ovulated 24th may) anyway. So I checked the PT and it was positive. Faint but a full pink line. I couldn’t believe it.

Ever since then pregnancy tests have been negative.. but I continued to get positive or almost positive ovulation tests until a few days ago. I’ve been getting period cramps since last Tuesday/Wednesday & should have been due on my period on Thursday. I’m now on day 7 of being late. Took an ovulation test a few hours ago and it’s close to positive again.. I’m so confused!

I have a just turned 2 year old & it took 2.5 years to conceive with her. 2 weeks of positive ovulation tests then a doctor took blood to check I didn’t have a hormone imbalance. A few days later I got a positive pregnancy test.

I had the nurse on Monday for an unrelated issue and she said if I havent had my period in a week to blood in for a blood test.

Has anyone experienced this? What was the outcome? I accept the positive PT was probably a chemical pregnancy but it’s all just weird. Im never late, especially not by more than 1-2 days. We’ve had sex a fair bit this week which usually would bring my period on or restart it if I’d just had it. I’m so confused by it all.
