Yes it's flirty & that's why he got mad when you called him out on it - switch it round, if you commented on a guys video with a remark like this how would he feel? If he wouldn't be happy then he can't expect you to be alright with it either.

Maybe she's discussed with him about modeling. But I don't think giving a respectful compliment is flirting. If he were to say "damn you look good" that may cross the line into flirting.
