Mucus plug???

Question

I sat down to go to the bathroom, and as I’m peeing heard a little plop and didn’t think anything of it. When I went to wipe, I got this....

There’s also a slightly larger chunk in the toilet (hence the plopping sound). I’ve never had any spotting after an exam or anything like this my whole pregnancy....
You think I would know with this being my second child...but I don’t remember this with my first.

I will say it doesn’t mean a lot. Just that your body is progressing. Some women still go weeks before labor starts.

I never lost my mucous plug all at once. Since I’ve been dilating I’ve just been getting more and more mucous like discharge as I progress and my dr said lots of women have it happen that way.

Probably at least part of your mucus plug. Some women don’t lose it until labor is in full swing. May be why you don’t remember seeing it last time.

Depends how big the one in the toilet is, when I lost mine it was huge, probably like 4 inches long and super thick
